MPG's mission is to provide managed care services to enrollees and providers in order to assure access to quality healthcare, health education and excellent customer services.

- Delighting Members. MPG will have as its primary focus assuring that its members receive timely and appropriate health care in a manner that is respectful of their individual needs, provides members with easy to understand information that educates them about their rights and responsibilities as members of the plan, and educates them about the value of healthy life styles and regular preventive care.
- Partnering with Providers. MPG will work both internally and with its providers to eliminate bureaucratic barriers to care and to timely payment of claims. It will partner with providers to determine the most effective role it can play in assisting providers
and members to ensure that members' health care needs are appropriately met.
- Making Evidence Based Decisions. MPG will make its management and organizational decisions based on data, will put systems in place to assure the integrity of its data and will use data as the basis of continuous learning and quality improvement.
- Insuring the Uninsured. MPG will assure an efficient and effective enrollment and renewal process to assist eligible uninsured to become and stay insured and to maximize market share.
- Maximizing Healthcare Dollars. MPG will operate in a fiscally responsible manner and maximize the dollars available to provide healthcare to its members.
- Working as a Team. MPG will foster management practices that encourage teamwork while holding all staff accountable for their performance and their contribution to improving business processes and services to members and providers.
- Helping to realize HHC's Vision. MPG will work to assist HHC in attaining its corporate vision.
